✓ Rules verified 2026-07-16

FundedNext's CFD line runs four "Stellar" plans — 2-Step, 1-Step, Lite and Instant — all using a static drawdown and all carrying the same 60-day inactivity restriction. This page covers the CFD line only; FundedNext's separate futures products (Flex/Legacy/Rapid) are a different lineup not covered by our data.

How FundedNext's drawdown works

Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite all use a static drawdown — a fixed percentage of your starting balance, calculated once and never moved, regardless of how your balance changes.

Stellar Instant is different: "rises with profits, never decreases, stops at initial balance" per FundedNext's own description — that's an end-of-day trailing floor that locks at your starting balance once it reaches it, the same mechanic TopStep and Breakout's 2-Step use. Since Instant has no profit target, this trailing-and-locking floor is effectively the entire risk rule you're trading against.

Frequently asked questions

What's FundedNext's inactivity rule?

All four Stellar CFD plans carry a 60-day inactivity restriction — the account can be closed if you don't place a trade for 60 consecutive days.

Does FundedNext's daily loss limit count open positions?

Yes, per our notes — the daily loss calculation includes unrealized (open-position) profit and loss, and resets at 00:00 server time. Tracking tools that only look at closed daily P&L (including our own data here) can't see a large intraday open-position drawdown that closed back out before the reset.

Which FundedNext Stellar plan has the easiest profit target?

Stellar Instant has no profit target at all — you're funded from day one. Among the plans that do have a target, Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite both start at 8% for Phase 1, the lowest first-phase target among FundedNext's four Stellar plans.
