Bitget Fees & Leverage Explained (2026)

Bitget markets itself as a "Universal Exchange" — crypto spot and futures alongside stocks, gold and forex through CFD products, all in one account. Here's what it actually charges and offers, verified against Bitget's own fee schedule and contract pages.

Fees

0.10% / 0.10%Spot maker / taker (base rate)
0.02% / 0.06%USDT-M futures maker / taker (base rate)
Up to 150×Max leverage, BTC/USDT perpetual

The figures above are Bitget's base rate — the tier every new account starts on before any volume-based VIP discount or BGB token fee discount is applied. Bitget also runs USDC-M and Coin-M futures at the same base maker/taker rate as USDT-M. Fee tiers scale down substantially at higher 30-day trading volumes; check Bitget's own VIP fee table for your actual rate once you're trading.

Leverage

Bitget's contract details page lists a maximum leverage of 150× on the BTC/USDT perpetual contract. Maximum leverage is tiered by position size — the full 150× is only available on smaller position notional values, stepping down as your position grows, and the cap varies by trading pair (smaller, less liquid pairs carry a lower maximum than BTC/USDT).

Markets

Bitget's product range spans spot, USDT-M / USDC-M / Coin-M futures, margin trading, CFDs on stocks, gold and other commodities (its "TradFi" / Universal Exchange offering), on-chain trading, plus spot and futures copy trading and a trading bot suite. Bitget states 790+ futures trading pairs and over 800 tradeable assets across the platform.

Who Bitget suits

Traders who want crypto, stocks and commodity CFDs available from a single account, without switching platforms to trade a gold or an index position alongside a crypto one. The combination of a competitive base futures fee, a high published leverage cap, and copy trading / bot tooling also suits traders who want automation options built in rather than bolted on through a third party.
